LM393 Sound Detection Sensor Module

The LM393 Sound Detection Sensor Module detects whether ambient sound has exceeded a set threshold value. Sound is picked up via an onboard microphone and fed into an LM393 comparator (op-amp). The sound level setpoint is adjusted via an onboard potentiometer — when the sound level exceeds the setpoint, the output LED illuminates and the digital output goes LOW. It is widely used with Arduino, ESP32, and Raspberry Pi for sound-triggered switching and detection projects.
